Brad Weiland is a Managing Director with Alvarez & Marsal Restructuring & Turnaround in Chicago. He specializes in Chapter 11 strategy, planning, and case administration.

Mr. Weiland brings more than 15 years of restructuring experience in advising public and private companies across a range of industries, including technology, media and telecommunications, energy and power generation, industrial manufacturing, infrastructure, and retail.

Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Weiland served as a Managing Director at Kroll in the Restructuring Administration practice and as an Associate and Partner in the Restructuring group of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. His select notable clients include Agrokor, Cineworld, Cobalt International Energy, Edison Mission Energy, FTX Trading Ltd., Samson Resources, Seadrill, and Windstream Communications.

Mr. Weiland earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Notre Dame and a JD from the University of Chicago. He is a member of the International Insolvency Institute, a nonprofit, limited-membership organization of leading professionals, scholars, and judges dedicated to improving law and practice related to domestic and international insolvencies and restructurings. As an attorney, he was named a notable practitioner in the International Financial Law Review’s IFLR1000.
