Carlos Garrido

Mr. Garrido has led initiatives focused on industrial footprint and supply chain optimization and manufacturing performance improvement. He works frequently on performance assessment and operational due diligence and has led projects for clients in food and beverage, pharmaceutical, heavy industry and waste treatment, focusing on manufacturing and supply chain improvement.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Garrido was Gestamp Strategic Projects Department Head. He developed and implemented different performance improvement projects with focus on procurement optimization, manufacturing performance, OEE improvement, maintenance cost reduction and inventory optimization.
Previously, as part of the Strategic Operations Practice at A.T. Kearney, Mr. Garrido focused on excellence in operations in FMGC, energy, food and beverage, machinery manufacturing and banking) and functions (supply chain, manufacturing and procurement), working across Europe. Prior to this, he served as Desigual Project Manager, developing and analyzing the supply chain strategy. He began his career at F.G.C. Technology, where he led teams designing, manufacturing and commissioning machinery for food and beverage factories, including mixers, gas ovens, laminators, forming machines, packing installations, in over 15 projects in Spain, South Africa, Mexico, Tunisia, Egypt, Portugal and Morocco
Mr. Garrido earned a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering from Carlos III University of Madrid, a master's degree in finance from the International University of La Rioja, a master's degree in renewable energies from the University San Pablo CEU, and an MBA from IESE Business School. He is fluent in Spanish and English.
