Vikrant Mulgund

Mr. Mulgund brings over 23 years of “coalface to boardroom” experience across Asia Pacific, the Middle East, Africa and North America, and has been a practising engineer, project manager and director, transformation leader and strategic advisor to public and private sector clients. He has advised businesses with complex portfolios of projects and operating assets in areas of strategy, portfolio management, business cases and investment decisions, business planning, operating models and operations improvement. Mr. Mulgund has also supported asset transactions in pre-deal due-diligence and post-deal integration.
Additionally, Mr. Mulgund has played leadership and high-impact advisory roles on Australian nation-building projects, including Western Sydney Airport, Snowy 2.0, nbn, Westconnex and NSW Renewable Energy Zones. He has also worked alongside multilateral donor agencies in strategic infrastructure developments in Timor-Leste and Tanzania.
Mr. Mulgund is sought for board advisory roles, public speaking and plenary engagements, guest lectures and judging industry awards. Previously, he was a faculty member for the Australian Major Projects Leadership Academy, an executive program for project leaders, delivered in collaboration with Oxford Saïd Business School and EY.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Mulgund was a Partner at EY in Australia and had leadership roles serving asset-intensive corporate and government clients, and practice building. Before that, he worked at Schlumberger in strategy and operations consulting and had a decade long career with several oil and gas companies.
Mr. Mulgund earned a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from the University of Mumbai and an MBA from the Australian Graduate School of Management.
