Hannah Lindman is a Senior Director with Alvarez & Marsal’s Global Transaction Advisory Group in Chicago.

With more than nine years of relevant experience, Ms. Lindman specializes in providing buy- and sell-side financial due diligence services for both private equity firms and strategic buyers.

Ms. Lindman has advised private equity firms and multinational corporations across various industries, including manufacturing, consumer goods, distribution, professional services and retail. Her transaction experience ranges from lower and middle market acquisition targets to billion-dollar, complex, cross-border transactions and carve-outs.

Ms. Lindman’s areas of expertise include identification and analysis of financial risk areas and key performance indicators; quantification of items directly impacting transaction valuation (e.g., understanding normalized EBITDA, adequacy of working capital levels and debt items); and purchase agreement review and support.

Prior to joining A&M, Ms. Lindman was a Manager within the financial due diligence group at KPMG, where she assisted private equity clients with both buy- and sell-side engagements. She started her career within the audit practice at Grant Thornton.

Ms. Lindman earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting and Spanish (magna cum laude) from the University of Notre Dame. She is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the state of Illinois and a member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Illinois CPA Society.
