Eduardo Magalhaes

With more than 20 years of experience, Mr. Magalhaes has worked on national and international projects in areas including forensic investigations, disputes, compliance, enterprise risk management, business and operational processes review for control optimization and cost reduction, process and operational. His projects have covered various sectors of the economy, such as oil and gas, energy, mining, steel, manufacturing, insurance, and finance.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Magalhaes spent two years with the largest LPG supplier in Brazil and led the risk management and operational/process audit teams. During this period, he led projects in areas including process and operational audits, forensic investigations and strategic and process risk management.
Previously, Mr. Magalhaes spent 14 years with Deloitte in the risk advisory practice. During this period, he was transferred to the Houston office, where he worked for one year in the Governance Risk and Regulatory division.
Mr. Magalhaes earned a bachelor’s degree in business from the Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro PUC-RJ; a master’s degree in oil and gas from COPPE — Federal University of Rio de Janeiro – Brazil; and an MBA (concentration in technology for business: AI, data science and big data) from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul.
