Tom Lobb

Mr. Lobb has extensive experience advising on cross-border mergers and acquisition transactions for publicly listed and PE backed businesses. This includes post-transaction workstreams integrating acquired businesses and advice covering IP planning, operating model alignment and financing arrangements. Mr. Lobb also extensive experience advising on HMRC enquiries including diverted profits tax.
Most recently, Mr. Lobb has advised clients on the impact of the BEPS Pillar 2 rules, providing advice to listed groups and private equity funds and their portfolio businesses. He has worked with clients across various industries, including software, telecoms, media, retail, and betting and gaming. Mr. Lobb was seconded to a FTSE 250 business as Interim Head of Tax.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Lobb spent seven years with EY in London, serving most recently as Partner. He worked with private equity funds on international tax issues, including anti-hybrid rules, holding company structures and the impact of Pillar 2 rules.
Mr. Lobb earned a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from King’s College London. He is a qualified Chartered Tax Advisor (CTA) and member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation.
