Arcoprovo Mitra is a Senior Director with Alvarez & Marsal Disputes and Investigations in Mumbai. He brings 19 years of experience in management and dispute advisory of capital projects. His primary areas of concentration are construction project management, project risk management, project delay, dispute advisory and expert testimony services. 

Most recently at A&M, Mr. Mitra has been involved in various delayed capital projects, advising clients in mitigating project delays. He has also been deposed in multiple complex construction arbitration matters as an expert on delay.

Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Mitra spent seven years with two Big Four companies, serving most recently as Director in construction claims and disputes. Previously, he served as Head of Planning and Contract in various construction companies for over a decade.

Mr. Mitra earned a bachelor’s degree in construction engineering from Jadavpur University and a master’s degree in construction project management from Heriot-watt University. He is a chartered quantity surveyor (MRICS), a Fellow of Institute of Engineers (F.I.E) in India, an Associate Member of Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (ACIArb), and a member of the Society of Construction Law (UK). An Indian national, Mr. Mitra is fluent in English, Hindi and Bengali.
