Alex Jarvis

Mr. Jarvis focuses on large, complex and/or cross-border restructuring and formal insolvency assignments that often involve contentious elements and coordinating multi-disciplinary teams.
With more than 17 years of restructuring experience, Mr. Jarvis has worked across a wide range of sectors and situations, leading small, asset- or issue-specific projects and large, multi-workstream and investigation-driven engagements. His recent sector and situational experience includes airlines, private healthcare, energy, investment and commodity arbitrage, professional services including law firms, family office and trusts and claims in professional negligence, antecedent transactions and fraud.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Jarvis spent eight years with KPMG in the British Virgin Islands and London. He has also worked extensively in or has significant experience dealing with issues in the Cayman Islands, Cyprus, the Eastern Caribbean, Luxembourg, the Marshall Islands, Poland, Russia, the Seychelles, Switzerland and the U.S. His notable experience includes engagements with large-scale domestic utility providers, the Four Seasons Health Care Group, Virgin Atlantic and JSC BTA Bank v Ablyazov & Ors. Mr. Jarvis has worked on other high-profile receiverships and corporate and personal insolvencies in the U.K. and overseas.
Mr. Jarvis earned a bachelor’s degree in business and management from Southampton Solent University. He is a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and a qualified insolvency practitioner.
