Mahshid Hadavinia

Ms. Hadavinia has delivered significant business transformations, including leading the turnaround of a distressed business struggling with working capital following three years of consecutive losses. She returned the business to profitability through immediate SG&A cost reductions, resetting commercial pricing strategy, implementing significant SKU rationalisation and production line closures, and developing a revised business plan to renegotiate bank ABL facilities.
Prior to this, Ms. Hadavinia set up the product operations for the sale of consumer electronic devices into B2B and D2C channels, as well as aligning the finance function to best practices following audit deficiencies. The products were subsequently listed across all major retailers and e-commerce platforms, delivering c.60% sales growth and payback within 12 months.
Prior to joining A&M, Ms. Hadavinia held senior finance and operational leadership positions, most recently as interim CFO of an FMCG business, where she conducted a finance diagnostic and implemented improvements across systems, processes, reporting and organisation. Previously, her roles included implementing a rapid turnaround plan as CFO of a food manufacturing business, launching the new product operations as Director of Finance & Operations of a media broadcasting organisation, and rolling out the global ERP and operating model as programme lead in a data analytics organisation.
Prior to her roles in industry, Ms. Hadavinia spent nine years at KPMG, where she was responsible for advising and implementing large-scale complex business change programmes, delivering performance improvements aligned to strategic priorities. Her specialism included finance/IT-enabled transformations, organisational restructuring and MI solutions. Ms. Hadavinia began her career in audit at KPMG.
Ms. Hadavinia earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting and economics from the University of Southampton. She is qualified as a chartered accountant (ICAEW).
