Jo Sheerin is a Senior Director with Alvarez & Marsal Corporate Finance U.K. in Manchester.

With more than 20 years of experience, Ms. Sheerin specializes in origination, sales and marketing in professional services firms. Her primary area of concentration is deal origination. She has worked with clients across a range of industries, with a focus on technology.

Prior to joining A&M, Ms. Sheerin spent six years with KPMG’s corporate finance team as Head of Deal Origination and was part of a leadership team that rapidly grew the practice to its most successful trading period in five years, developing and delivering an origination culture through post deal marketing, key account management, sales coaching and sector marketing. She spearheaded and led many projects, including the Dealmakers podcast, Mid Market PE review and Women in Tech community.

Previously, Ms. Sheerin led BDO LLPs national business development strategy, co-developing and project managing the firm’s strategy that won the Managing Partner Forum award for 'Best Strategic Leadership' .

Ms. Sheerin earned a bachelor’s degree in political studies (honours) from Queen’s University in Canada and a postgraduate degree in public relations from Humber College. She is a certified practitioner in Whole Brain Thinking and has supported various charitable causes, including Kasupe, which built a primary school in Malawi. Ms. Sheerin was recognised as Talk Talk’s Women in Tech Mentor of the Year in 2022.
