Mr. Heitzinger has advised private equity sponsors and corporate executives across a range of industries, including consumer packaged goods, food service, retail, packaging, manufacturing, technology and professional services. His notable assignments include assisting a $1.2 billion medical services provider to identify and execute $70 million to $90 million of EBITDA improvements through a comprehensive margin and cost optimization program, where key drivers of improvement included footprint rationalization, revenue retention, labor/location management processes and improvements to labor and non-labor cost structure.
Additionally, Mr. Heitzinger led a $350 million manufacturer of machine glaze and tissue paper through implementation of ~$10 million to $18 million of EBITDA improvements through a tactical margin expansion program, where key drivers of improvement included developing repeatable margin transparency, pricing tools, cost forecasting tools, margin targets and pricing power guidance.
Furthermore, Mr. Heitzinger assisted a $1.6 billion packaging and systems manufacturer with ~$12 million to $16 million of EBITDA improvements by leading a cost optimization initiative focused on the organization’s overhead labor, where key drivers included centralization of accounting and finance, R&D and product management, as well as streamlining the commercial organization to align to high margin segments.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Heitzinger was with Nielsen, where he served as Senior Manager in the Advanced Analytic Consulting practice and managed pricing, promotion, sales and marketing effectiveness in the cheese business unit of a large CPG company. He also held several roles at Solo Cup Company by rotating through procurement, pricing/finance, marketing and sales planning, often interfacing with senior management.
Mr. Heitzinger earned a bachelor’s degree in business (concentration in finance) from Miami University.
