Mr. Dohler has held leadership positions across business development, corporate strategy, portfolio management, global R&D, and commercial operations. He has extensive experience integrating strategic planning with detailed execution for M&A transactions, designing new organizations, implementing global initiatives and leading company transformations.
Mr. Dohler’s notable accomplishments include improving efficiency and productivity across commercial, G&A and manufacturing organizations for over $1 billion in recurring annual savings as Global PMO for a corporate transformation initiative and leading a 50+ person global R&D team to enable Takeda’s divesment of over $12 billion in commercial assets to multiple buyers in the U.S., Europe, Asia and Emerging Markets.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Dohler spent 16 years with Takeda Pharmaceuticals Global BD, Commercial and R&D organizations. He held several Vice President roles and recruited the executive leadership team, created the national sales team and managed the launch of two new products as the first General Manager of Takeda’s new commercial affiliate in Canada. He also led an access-to-medicine fellowship program with an NGO to build healthcare capacity in rural Haiti.
Previously, Mr. Dohler worked at Abbott Laboratories for 10 years in leadership roles across marketing, commercial development, and program management.
Mr. Dohler earned a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Northwestern University and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management.
