Mr. Nunez brings expertise in effective project and program management of technology transformations across EMEA, APAC, Central and South America. Most recently, he managed the design and implementation of a Cloud Migration PMO for one of the largest banks in the U.S. This engagement was focused on establishing program management best-practices and developing structure, reporting, staffing and management routines to ensure the success of a 10-year program.
Additionally, Mr. Nunez served as interim IT leader for a company in the healthcare software sector. He managed the Corporate IT department, including resources and functions spanning several technical areas; planned and executed a cloud migration to AWS of 120 applications and 75 servers, including leveraging reservations and Amazon’s Enterprise Discount Program to optimize cost and contract management; transitioned premise-based phone systems to cloud-based unified communications solutions; and created outsourcing activities that resulted in the transition of server and infrastructure management, service desk and cyber-security to multiple external service providers.
Previously, Mr. Nunez led the IT post-merger integration of an international payment processing company. After assessing both the company’s IT functions and identifying gaps in skill sets and capabilities, he developed and led a program of seven work-streams for the integration. This program formed the foundation of the organization’s IT transformation and mitigated key issues and risks for the overall program of work.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Nunez served as a senior technology executive with an international chemicals company.
Mr. Nunez earned a BBA (concentration in management) from American InterContinental University.
