Mr. Bohlin brings more than 20 years of real estate analytical and management consulting experience. He has valued assets/portfolios throughout the U.S. and internationally for assignments related to financial reporting (i.e., ASC 805 analyses) and valuations for tax reporting, including valuations for estate planning and FIRPTA purposes as well as assignments for ad valorem purposes.

Additionally, Mr. Bohlin has a demonstrated history in merger and acquisition due diligence and transaction analyses for investment decision-making purposes. His assignments have also included positive/negative fair value assurance, valuations for collateral financing, acquisition/disposition consulting as well as advisory consulting related to dispute resolution and litigation support. 

Furthermore, Mr. Bohlin brings expertise across a wide variety of property types, with significant experience in specialized property types such as hospitality and gaming, data storage, healthcare/assisted living and energy, in addition to core property types such as office, retail, industrial manufacturing, logistics and storage and multifamily.

Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Bohlin served as Vice President with the Dispute Resolution Consulting practice at Houlihan Lokey in New York, where he specialized in real estate consulting and valuation services in the context of dispute resolution and litigation support. Before that, he served as Senior Manager in the Valuation & Business Analytics group at BDO; Senior Manager in the Valuation Advisory Services group at CohnReznick; Manager in the Financial Instruments, Structured Products and Real Estate services group at PwC; Manager in Transactions and Business Analytics division at Deloitte; and Senior Analyst at Nationwide Consulting Company.

Mr. Bohlin earned a bachelor’s degree in finance and economics from William Paterson University. He is a Candidate for Designation with the Appraisal Institute and is licensed as a state-certified general real estate appraiser in numerous states. Additionally, Mr. Bohlin is published in the Journal of Accountancy.
