Shweta Dewan

Most recently, Ms. Dewan led a complex global separation program for the commercial functions of a leading hospitality player in Europe. Post separation, with Day-1 organisation in place, she led the operating model transformation of key commercial functions, including global sales, revenue management and business performance and marketing.
Prior to that, Ms. Dewan led the commercial target operating model transformation for a leading beverage business in Europe with €10+ billion in revenues across OHH and retail channels. She also led the marketing function transformation for a leading beauty business that had been experiencing multiple years of revenue decline, managing a six-month program that delivered a marketing organisation that outperformed original targets by 5 - 10%.
Ms. Dewan led a six-month commercial transformation program for a $1 billion global power conversion business across the UK, Latin America and Asia. She worked closely with the commercial team to redefine sales organisation, addressing end–to end intake-to-order simplification, deploying best practices across account management, and implementing funnel management tools to improve salesforce effectiveness.
Prior to joining A&M, Ms. Dewan spent six years at AlixPartners working with private equity owned and corporate businesses. Previously, she worked as an Equity Research Associate at IDFC Securities (India), focussing on consumer goods, shipping, aviation and education.
Ms. Dewan earned a bachelor’s degree in IT engineering from SNDT University in Mumbai and an MBA in finance from Welingkar Institute of Management.
