Caroline Walters

Ms. Walters has significant experience valuing individual power generation assets across a wide range of technologies, including solar, wind, hydro, landfill gas, nuclear, natural gas, coal, and battery storage. She also has extensive experience valuing business enterprises and equity investments and has provided valuation services to public and private entities, including independent power producers, utilities, retail electric providers, developers, tax equity investors, and investment funds.
Ms. Walters has prepared business valuations and tangible and intangible asset valuations for project financing, financial and tax reporting, purchase price allocation, goodwill impairment testing, pre-M&A due diligence, and management planning. She has valued intangible assets such as contracts, trade names, customer relationships, technology, and assembled workforce for purchase price allocations.
Prior to joining Alvarez & Marsal, Ms. Walters performed valuations at Kroll, LLC (formerly known as Duff & Phelps, LLC) with the Valuation Advisory Services group, Energy & Mining industry practice. Prior to that, she performed investment underwriting at Prudential Private Capital with the Real Assets: Power group (formerly known as Prudential Capital Group, Energy Finance Group: Power).
Ms. Walters earned bachelors' degrees in finance and economics from Southern Methodist University.
