With more than 10 years of experience, Mr. Koch has worked with across a range of industries, including industrial products, manufacturing and software/digital.

Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Koch spent more than 10 years with PwC in their Transaction Advisory practice in Düsseldorf and Los Angeles, where he most recently served as Senior Manager. As part of this role, he provided buy- and sell-side due diligence and business modeling services to PE investors and corporate clients.

Mr. Koch’s notable engagements have included buy-side DD as part of the acquisition of various ophthalmology providers by a PE investor; vendor DD on a social selling business in the health and beauty space; sell-side DD on a packaging business owned by a PE company; buy-side DD as part of the acquisition of a German spare parts and special tooling by a PE investor; buy-side DD on an online beauty and plastic surgery platform as part of the acquisition by a PE investor; buy-side DD, valuation and modeling tasks on a media business acquired by a Belgian media company; and buy-side DD on an elevator business as part of an attempted acquisition of a Finnish corporate.

Mr. Koch earned a master’s degree in law (concentration in M&A) from the University of Münster, Germany and is a Chartered Financial Analyst charterholder. A German national, he is fluent in German and English.
