Hazim Almegren is a Managing Director with Alvarez & Marsal Financial Services in Riyadh. He brings 25 years of experience in banking and financial services. 

Mr. Almegren’s primary areas of concentration are corporate and small and mid-size enterprise banking. Mr. Almegren has worked with clients across a range of industries, including manufacturing, retail, contracting, real estate and leasing. 

Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Almegren spent 13 years with Bank Al Jazira, serving most recently as Head of Corporate & Institutional Banking. Under his management, his department income grew from SAR 80 million to SAR 540 million and fee-based profits grew by 35 percent. Mr. Almegren was a board member of the Saudi Credit Bureau (SIMAH), serving as its Chair for four years.  

Previously, Mr. Almegren worked with GIB Corporate banking and SAMBA, both in Saudi Arabia. At SAMBA, he managed corporate payment systems and electronic banking services and worked in corporate banking where he grew his portfolio from SAR 300 million to SAR 1100 million.

Mr. Almegren earned a bachelor’s degree in computer information systems from King Saud University. A Saudi national, he is fluent in Arabic and English.
