Ines Berger

With more than 20 years of transaction services experience, Mrs. Berger has worked particularly with private equity clients and has profound experience advising strategic investors. She has provided financial and transactions advice in a lead role on a large number of buy-side and sell-side transactions, focusing on the German mid-cap segment.
Mrs. Berger’s notable assignments include buy-side financial due diligences on manufacturers of production systems and solutions for the optimization of production processes in the technology sectors, production, assembly and test and measuring; buy-side and sell-side FDDs on manufacturers of mechanical elements for industrial and automotive applications; and buy-side and sell-side FDDs on industrial manufacturers of assembly, fastening and turnkey systems for the aerospace and defense industry.
Additionally, Mrs. Berger has been involved in buy-side and sell-side FDDs on manufacturers, providing engineering, manufacturing, erection and service of plants, systems and components for energy, process industry and infrastructure customers in Central Europe; buy-side FDDs on a manufacturer of packaging solutions and specialists of rugged solutions for mission and safety critical applications; buy-side DDs on foundry companies in Germany and India; buy-side and sell-side FFDs on automotive suppliers; financial and refinancing vendor due diligences on a manufacturer of heat treatment solutions; and restructuring projects for PE clients and value creation projects following buy-side FDDs.
Prior to joining A&M, Mrs. Berger served as Transaction Services Partner with KPMG and Deloitte in Frankfurt.
Mrs. Berger earned an MBA (Diplom-Kaufmann) from Freie Universität in Berlin. She is a German Chartered Tax Advisor (Steuerberaterin) and German Certified Public Accountant (Wirtschaftsprüferin). A German national, Mrs. Berger is fluent in German and English.
