Francois Bardi

With more than 20 years of industry and consulting experience, Mr. Bardi augments proven approaches with novel and tailored solutions to solve tough problems. He focuses on value creation and develops innovative yet pragmatic solutions anchored in his industry experience.
Mr. Bardi’s notable assignments include the turnaround of multiple distressed private, public, and national oil and gas companies; the design and implementation of a growth strategy for a major oil services company; and operations improvement for an international mining company and a chemicals company. He has worked across all continents and partnered with the energy, industrial, mining, infrastructure, and chemicals industries.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Bardi was a Partner with McKinsey & Company, leading its oil and gas transformation service line. Before that, he spent eight years with ExxonMobil Upstream in Houston in positions spanning strategy, planning, engineering, large capital projects, and operations.
Mr. Bardi earned a master’s degree in engineering management from the Ecole Centrale de Lille, a master’s degree in aerospace engineering from the University of Texas at Austin, and a PhD in engineering mechanics from the University of Texas at Austin. He is a board member of the Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston. A French national, Mr. Bardi is fluent in English and French.
