Christopher Baglio

Dr. Baglio brings 30+ years of clinical management experience in developing creative solutions to exceptional challenges. Using a scientific approach, he has helped numerous states develop valid and reliable tools, capture practical information, and facilitate quality initiatives across divisions. In addition to presenting at 35+ national conferences, he has published 16 peer-reviewed articles and currently reviews manuscripts submitted for publication to the Journal of Autism and Developmental Disorders.
Prior to joining A&M, Dr. Baglio worked for a broad health and human service organization, overseeing program development efforts in the areas of long-term care and home- and community-based services (HCBS) to generate $40+ million in new annual revenue. He advised numerous states, providing clinical oversight and stabilization to facilities that were decertified or operating under a United States Department of Justice settlement agreement.
Before that, Dr. Baglio founded an organization with programs for children and adults with autism spectrum disorders and other developmental disabilities within schools and HCBS settings. Additionally, he was an adjunct professor for 17+ years, teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in learning and behavior, assessment, and research methodology.
Dr. Baglio earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of California, Santa Barbara; a master’s degree in child development from the University of California, Davis; and a doctorate degree in ethical leadership from Olivet Nazarene University. He also pursued a doctorate in clinical psychology from Louisiana State University, completing his pre-doctoral internship at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Dr. Baglio is a graduate of the National Leadership Consortium on Developmental Disabilities at the University of Delaware and an Ambassador for Charting the LifeCourse.
