Nicholas Omirou is a Senior Director with Alvarez & Marsal Private Equity Performance Improvement in London. He brings 20 years of leadership experience in industry and advisory roles in planning, managing and delivering large-scale technology-enabled transformation programs, due diligence, integrations, carve-outs and value creation initiatives.

Mr. Omirou specializes in providing technology advice to private equity funds and their portfolio companies and helps clients to optimise their technology choices and investments, focusing on finance and IT functions. He has worked with clients in various industries, including infrastructure, technology, professional services, consumer products and life sciences.

Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Omirou spent seven years with EY-Parthenon's Strategy and Transactions practice, as Director of Transaction Strategy and Execution. He provided operational advice to private equity and corporate clients across the deal lifecycle, developed and led the finance function competency and held people leadership responsibilities.

Previously, Mr. Omirou served in Deloitte’s Finance Advisory practice, providing finance and technology advice to FTSE100 CFOs, CIOs and leadership teams. Earlier, he held Programme Management, Integration and Enterprise Architecture roles at GE Healthcare. Mr. Omirou’s notable projects include providing IT due diligence engagements for Permira, Advent, and Warburg Pincus and delivering carve-outs from Kodak, IHS Markit, Johnson Matthey and Wolseley.

Mr. Omirou earned a master’s degree in software engineering from the University of Southampton. A U.K. national, he is a chartered management accountant and qualified as a Project Management Professional with the Project Management Institute.
