Jesus Muia

Mr. Muia has a deep understanding of shared services environments including customer experience, sales and marketing, sales operation, human resources, and third-party fiduciary with solid analytical, statistical and mathematical skills. He has used packaged and cloud offerings from Salesforce.com, Workday, Oracle and NetSuite, and has created project management offices, including metrics, targets, processes and methodology.
Mr. Muia has worked with clients in various industries, including banking and finance, government, insurance, travel and tourism, non-profit, online retail, healthcare, and energy. Recently, he led the retail carve-out of a three-billion-dollar energy company from its parent, standing-up the new retail department and new applications in the new company’s environment and managing the separation of all retail systems from the parent and the employees’ transition from the old company to the new one.
Mr. Muia managed a Salesforce implementation focused on SFA, marketing and partner management for a global technology company that had grown through acquisition. In addition to successfully completing the implementation in 16 weeks, he also laid out the strategic decommissioning of the two current CRM systems.
Mr. Muia’s other notable assignments include being part of an interim management team (CEO, CIO, CFO, and Director of PMO) of a leading retail optical. He established the PMO across all departments, set metrics, established processes, and supported the CIO by leading the RFP process for a new optical POS system. He also led the marketing RFP and vendor selection for a leading healthcare provider, was part of the digital transformation team managing the CRM vendor selection and co-led an analysis of their Salesforce pilot.
Mr. Muia earned a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Florida International University and an MBA from the University of Miami.
