Joseph Plati

Mr. Plati brings more than 10 years of experience in the tax aspects of domestic and cross border mergers and acquisitions and post-merger integration. He focuses on tax due diligence, cash tax modeling, debt financing, reorganizations, global tax structuring, cash and effective tax rate planning, as well as transaction costs studies.
Mr. Plati advises multinational corporations and strategic and private equity buyers on domestic and cross-border post-merger integration strategies, focusing on the software and technology and consulting/outsourcing industries, as well as the global food and agribusiness sectors.
Mr. Plati has worked with large publicly traded companies, multinational technology-enhanced consulting and advisory businesses, and private equity funds investing in the software and technology space, global agribusiness, and retail/manufacturing.
Mr. Plati earned a bachelor’s degree in English from Flagler College, a J.D. (tax law concentration) from Hofstra University School of Law, and an LLM in taxation from New York University School of Law. He is a member of the New York State Bar.
