Seiwook Kwon is a Senior Director with Alvarez & Marsal in Seoul. With more than 20 years of experience in consulting and business management, he focuses on strategy development, operational improvement, and supply chain and organizational transformation.

Mr. Kwon has worked across a wide range of industries including technology, automotive, industrials, chemical and gas, and media and entertainment. His notable engagements include advising the C-suite of a $1.2 billion automotive Tier-1 to design a transformation program to resolve profitability erosion. Mr. Kwon also led an enterprise-level supply chain transformation for a Chinese photovoltaic manufacturer to reengineer sales and operating processes and enhance response to market demand.

Mr. Kwon supported a global technology company headquartered in Palo Alto to merge its printer business with its competitor and effectively integrate supply chain bases that were scattered across 40+ countries. He also served on a $1+ billion deal in which he led an operational and organizational separation of a Korean subsidiary from a German industrial gas company.

Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Kwon spent 12 years as a Director of Strategy and Operations at Deloitte Consulting, working with clients in China, the U.S., and Germany, as well as Korea. He led projects that helped clients increase profitability. He supported automotive OEM and Tier-1 clients to expand their business into new markets and implement operational and organizational transformations.

Previously, Mr. Kwon was Head of Global Sales with Iriver co. ltd, that was acquired by SK, one of the largest conglomerates in Korea. He focused on rationalizing customer portfolios and simulating product transformation. Prior to that, Mr. Kwon spent eight years with Samsung Electronics, where he worked on new customer development in Asia, product strategy development for Hong Kong and Taiwan carriers, and coordinating device development and new product launch.

Mr. Kwon earned a bachelor’s degree in engineering from Korea University.
