Michael Magnay

Mr. Magnay specialises in helping stakeholders stabilise the business, assess available options and implement optimal strategies for protecting and enhancing value. He advises businesses ranging from owner-managed SMEs to governments, large public entities, and privately owned multi-jurisdictional groups. Mr. Magnay has worked with clients in various industries, including manufacturing, retail, consumer business, construction, aviation, and real estate.
Mr. Magnay’s expertise includes crisis management, improving stakeholder communication, cash and working capital optimisation, options analysis, implementing accelerated sales processes and contingency planning. He has extensive experience delivering transactions through an insolvency process when required to preserve value.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Magnay spent 20 years with Deloitte LLP, serving most recently as a Partner leading the Restructuring Services businesses in Northwestern England and across Scotland.
Mr. Magnay earned a bachelor’s degree in accountancy from Northumbria University. He is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW), a member of R3, and a licensed Insolvency Practitioner.
