Rob McNish

With more than 30 years of consulting experience, Mr. McNish has served international clients across the power generation, electrical equipment, industrial services, industrial automation, oilfield services and flow control sectors.
Recently, Mr. McNish led a program to improve the design, supply chain and manufacturing quality of a global electrical equipment OEM. He has also led growth strategy efforts for a leading global oilfield service equipment OEM and an industrial services provider. Mr. McNish led the multi-billion dollar merger integration effort that carved an electrical equipment division out of one global conglomerate and merged it into a similarly sized division of another global conglomerate.
Mr. McNish has also recently led the revenue and cost synergy capture teams for the merger of two industrial field services companies, including the realignment of the combined sales force, streamlining the headcount of multiple support functions, establishing a shared services organization for customer facing and back-office functions. Additionally, Mr. McNish has led or co-led the reorganization of corporate center functions ahead of a flow control division carve-out; the organization streamlining of the end-to-end sales and project delivery process for a leading power generation equipment OEM; the acquisition diligence for over a dozen engineered equipment OEMs; and the reorganization of a large industrial services shop footprint for a major electrical equipment OEM.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. McNish served as Senior Partner with AlixPartners, A.T. Kearney and McKinsey & Company, where he led or co-led several practices, including Advanced Industrials, Corporate Finance & Strategy and Risk Management.
Mr. McNish earned a bachelor's degree in commerce (summa cum laude) from the Haskayne School of Business at the University of Calgary and an MBA (summa cum laude) from the Booth School of Business at the University of Chicago. He also holds a Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
