Hameer Vaid
With over 20 years of advisory and industry experience, Mr. Vaid has worked across the investment life cycle, from strategy through deals, capital formation, asset management, and exit. At A&M, he leads engagements for a range of investors, sponsors, and operators. Mr. Vaid advises them on matters including: acquisitions, dispositions, and recapitalization; capital advisory; and asset and capital stack repositioning. He serves on the Management Committee of the Real Estate Advisory Services (REAS) team, with responsibility for REAS’s growth strategy as well as strategic global client partnerships on behalf of the firm.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Vaid spent six years with PwC’s Real Estate Advisory practice in New York, where he led engagements involving strategy, operations, and digital initiatives for clients across the asset and wealth management sector.
Before that, Mr. Vaid spent 10 years in industry with UrbanAmerica, a real estate private equity firm in the greater New York area, where he notably served as Senior Vice President of portfolio and asset management. In this role, he worked closely with the founding partners as a member of the Executive Committee, which was responsible for managing $4 billion in assets and $1.5 billion of investor equity. Previously, Mr. Vaid spent two years as an Associate with GE Capital’s Wealth Income Management group.
Mr. Vaid earned a bachelor’s degree from the Institute of Management Studies Ghaziabad, India, as well as an MBA from Cornell SC Johnson College of Business. Mr. Vaid is a Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA)-registered representative with SIE, Series 79, and Series 63 licenses. He is involved in multiple charitable and nonprofit initiatives focusing on children’s education and animal welfare.
