Avishek Nandi

Mr. Nandi is a healthcare leader with more than 15 years of experience in driving IT investment decisions and operating big bet initiatives. His primary areas of concentration are IT strategy planning for product innovation and business transformation, post-merger technology integration, complex program planning and oversight, technology organization optimization, and technology vendor evaluation and contracting. He has worked with clients across various industries, including healthcare, insurance and financial services.
Mr. Nandi’s notable projects include turning around a distressed multi-million-dollar IT initiative where he changed vendor contracts, re-aligned plans to business goals, discontinued four low-value workstreams and evolved the operating model including cross-functional team composition; and leading all aspects of technology for a new product introduction where he identified IT investment opportunities, built the business case, gained investment commitment and led the technology implementation for the product launch. His other notable projects include multiple technology vendor selections, complex contract negotiations, digital platform development, scaled Agile methodology adoption, cloud computing adoption and legacy system modernization.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Nandi spent seven years with Cigna Health Insurance Company in Philadelphia, serving as Program Director. He was responsible for technology planning and delivery to launch a rapidly growing line of business, led Cigna’s partnership with an insurance technology company to build a cloud native administration platform, and was part of the team that developed the post-merger integration plans for technology for a multibillion-dollar divestiture from Cigna. Prior to Cigna, Mr. Nandi was a management consultant at Strategy& (the strategy consulting unit of PwC) and a software engineer at IBM.
Mr. Nandi earned a bachelor’s degree in electronics engineering from Cochin University of Science and Technology and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business.
