Veronica Williams is a Senior Director with Alvarez & Marsal’s Disputes & Investigations group in Dallas. She specializes in litigation and investigation work, focusing on a variety of financial, economic and accounting analyses for a number of disputes. Her primary areas of concentration are analyzing commercial damages claims, assessing intellectual property disputes and investigating operational issues for her clients.

With more than 20 years in expert and privileged consulting roles, Ms. Williams has assisted clients with complex data analysis, funds tracing and forensic accounting, determination of damages from breach of contract, lost value of assets and business interruption, claims reviews and stock options investigations.

Ms. Williams’ notable assignments include being a part of an advisory team for the Examiner’s investigation in the bankruptcy of a large gaming corporation of more than fifteen transactions that took place over more than a five-year period between debtors, other entities controlled by its parent, and the LBO sponsors. She also worked on various investigative matters for clients, including a bank holding company, an Information Technology solutions company, and a software development company. Ms. Williams has worked with clients across various industries, including agriculture, automotive, healthcare, financial institutions, construction, telecommunications, entertainment and government contracts.

Prior to joining A&M, Ms. Williams spent four years with Navigant Consulting in Dallas, where she most recently served as Managing Consultant. She focused on investigations, complex litigation and other types of disputes. Previously, she was with Tucker Alan Inc.

Ms. Williams earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from Baylor University. She is a member of the Institute of Management Accountants. She also serves on the Red Oak Advisory Council, a sounding board for the Superintendent, and is involved with various charitable organizations.
