Christian Büchelhofer is a Senior Director with Alvarez & Marsal Valuation Services in Munich. With nearly 15 years of valuation experience, he is an expert in leading interdisciplinary valuation projects.

Dr. Büchelhofer provides counsel to PE investors and corporate clients ranging from start-up and medium-sized firms to large publicly listed companies. He has worked with clients across various industries including financial institutions, industrials, consumer products, automotive, pharmaceuticals and biotech. Dr. Büchelhofer is a guest lecturer at German universities, speaks at conferences and regularly authors publications on topics related to valuation and transaction advice.

Dr. Büchelhofer earned a Diplom-Kaufmann degree from the European Business School, Oestrich-Winkel, a master’s degree in business research and a doctoral degree (Dr. oec. publ.) in financial economics from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
