Ben Edmiston

Throughout his career, Mr. Edmiston has consulted on engagements in the energy, manufacturing, construction, education, healthcare, environmental, and financial services industries. He has provided expert testimony in state and federal courts and has acted as an independent arbitrator on accounting disputes.
Mr. Edmiston often performs accounting, financial, or damage assessments under a variety of circumstances, including breach of contract, bankruptcy or construction claims, fraud allegations, royalty audits, and business interruption claims.
In addition, Mr. Edmiston has significant experience working across various sectors in the oil and gas industry including upstream, midstream, downstream, and oilfield services. He has led engagements involving the quantification of royalties under various oil and gas lease terms, quantified damages related to midstream and gas processing agreements and has evaluated claims in billing disputes.
Mr. Edmiston earned a BBA in accounting and a master’s degree in finance from Texas A&M University. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.
