Goutam Palukuri is a Senior Director with Alvarez & Marsal’s Transaction Advisory Group in San Francisco. He has worked with private equity sponsors and corporate clients on financial due diligence projects and financial statement audits involving both public and private companies.

With over ten years of global transaction advisory experience, Mr. Palukuri has advised clients on domestic and cross-border transactions in Europe, the Middle East and the Americas. This includes buy-side transactions, portfolio company add-on transactions, sell-side divestitures, carve-outs of business segments and reporting accountant work for capital market transactions.

Mr. Palukuri’s focus areas for financial due diligence include quality of earnings, cash flow, working capital and net debt analysis. He also performs reviews of purchase agreements and financial models and assesses the achievability of management prepared business plans. Mr. Palukuri has assisted his clients throughout all phases of a potential acquisition, from pre-deal evaluation through post-deal purchase price adjustment.

Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Palukuri was an Assistant Director for the transaction services practice of Deloitte Corporate Finance Limited in Dubai. He was a generalist financial due diligence professional working with private equity companies and corporate clients. Prior to this, Mr. Palukuri worked with KPMG LLP as a financial due diligence and audit professional in London and Los Angeles.

Mr. Palukuri earned two bachelor‘s degrees in finance and accounting from the University of Southern California. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensed in the state of California.
