Jim Weigel
Mr. Weigel brings more than 30 years of experience across management consulting and financial services, with a deep expertise in capital markets and a particular emphasis on debt.
Mr. Weigel supports A&M’s Global Restructuring and Management Consulting practices. He also leads the Insight Center’s Content Strategy Group, which focuses on research-intensive content creation and distribution. When he joined A&M, he worked primarily on commercial restructuring engagements.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Weigel spent three years at McKinsey & Company, where he served as Head of Research for the McKinsey Investment Office (MIO Partners). Before that, he spent more than 10 years at Accenture, where he was a Senior Manager, leading teams in the US, UK, Germany, France, South Africa, Australia, Hong Kong SAR, and Japan. He began his career at New York Life Insurance Company, where he held a series of research roles over seven years.
Mr. Weigel earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Fordham University.
