He has more than 30 years of experience in the automotive and industrials consulting areas, implementing sustained performance improvement in multinational corporations and middle-market companies. His operations and supply chain focus areas include engineering, manufacturing, procurement (transformation, strategic sourcing, P2P), M&A assessments, synergies, and implementation.
In a notable operational turnaround project, he served as the interim Production Leader for a Tier 1 automotive client, responsible for 250 employees across five underperforming departments. He identified ways to stabilize the operation and grow its output to meet critical OEM demand, and led communications with the client’s clients. The project involved lean work through inventory optimization, monitoring and reducing unproductive downtime, and driving production schedules to meet demand without overproduction.

He implemented a forward-looking commercial strategy for new revenue and operational improvements to drive higher efficiencies and lower costs.
For global clients, Mr. Hunt has led major international transformations of large commercial, retail, chemical, and agricultural companies to drive increased value from sales & marketing, footprint optimization, operational improvements, product development, indirect & direct sourcing, G&A, and customer profitability as well as filling interim management roles.
