Aaron Eichorn

Mr. Eichorn notably undertook an interim CFO role in the New England area for a $3+ billion academic medical health system, where he created/implemented a performance improvement plan to address a $400 million shortfall, coordinating with the Board, bond rating agencies, and bankers. As of Q4 2024, the client is on track to achieve break-even financial results within 18 months. Mr. Eichorn also led a financial and operational transformation targeting $150 million in EBITDA improvement for a $2 billion hospital chain, including financial leadership, Project Management Office, enhanced operational metrics, and redesign of operations for a post-COVID-19 operating environment. Previously, he served as the Restructuring Advisor for a large, urban safety-net academic medical center, developing a system-wide organizational transformation plan.
Mr. Eichorn has provided interim management services on healthcare engagements by designing efficient operating models and developing executable strategic plans—he served as: CFO for an academic medical center, implementing analytical tools to enhance net revenue, driving financial performance improvement initiatives, and developing long-term strategic plans to address expected DSH/supplemental funding reductions; CFO for University Health System, a nonprofit entity formed via a public/private partnership with the state health department and LSU School of Medicine; interim VP of Finance/CFO for a 650+ physician group, creating financial reporting tools to monitor productivity, provide benchmark comparisons, and monthly budget variances, and creating/implementing corrective performance improvement plans.
Prior to A&M, Mr. Eichorn worked as a Financial Analyst for the Emory Healthcare System. This role included budgeting and variance analysis, monthly P&L reporting, and integrating independent physician groups into the Emory network.
Mr. Eichorn earned a bachelor’s degree in finance (summa cum laude) from Touro University in New York and an MBA (concentrations in healthcare administration and finance, summa cum laude) from Georgia State University. He has served as an expert witness for multiple A&M clients. He is active on local community boards and has served as a guest lecturer for the LSU doctoral program in leadership studies.
