Richard Bibby is a Managing Director with Alvarez & Marsal Valuation Services in London. He currently leads the Valuation Services practice across EMEA.
Mr. Bibby brings over 25 years of experience in valuation and advisory services, specializing in unquoted, illiquid, and hard-to-value investments. His expertise supports a wide range of commercial, fiscal, accounting, and regulatory requirements.
Mr. Bibby advises clients across diverse sectors, with a strong focus on investment fund valuations and M&A transactions within the European infrastructure, private equity, and real estate markets. His clients include major investment banks and their affiliated funds, asset managers, sovereign wealth funds, corporates (both U.K.-based and international), mid-market private equity firms, and high-net-worth individuals.
Since joining A&M, Mr. Bibby has played a leading role in expanding the firm’s valuation capabilities both in the U.K. and across EMEA. Prior to this, he was a Director in Deloitte’s Corporate Finance Valuation Group, where he helped establish and lead the Portfolio Valuation team.
Mr. Bibby earned a bachelor’s degree from Imperial College London, and is a member of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI) and the Chartered Institute of Taxation.
