Mr. Boldt specializes in diligence, advisory and line management work, including process improvement and engineered solutions, cost and financial analysis, strategic vs. tactical elements of process roll-out and implementation, and turnaround and interim management. He has worked with clients across various industries such as consumer products, light industrial and automotive. 

Mr. Boldt’s recent notable assignments include: operations turnaround and lean-out of a diversified aerospace componentry manufacturer to reestablish product quality, and adhere to committed customer service and supply chain requirements; establishing cost-effective supply chain and production solutions for electronics and electrical assemblies (various consumer products) on pan-Asian low-cost sourcing engagements; acting as interim COO to direct turnaround of a medical devices manufacturer, drive cost take-out, eliminate order backlog and right size inventory positions; implementing a new order-to-cash process for a global capital equipment manufacturer and increasing manufacturing throughput while improving working capital turnover; restructuring of product design and manufacturing functions at premier European sports car manufacturer to support drastically reduced Cost-of-Quality targets.

Prior to his consulting career and joining A&M, Mr. Boldt spent 10 years in the international automotive industry. Following managerial responsibilities in advanced engineering and product design, production and supply chain management, he held system-level executive responsibility within various business segments, including electromechanical and electronic componentry. Mr. Boldt continues to apply extensive expertise on all strategic and tactical aspects of improving automotive operations, including production launch solutions.

Mr. Boldt earned an MBA in international management from Thunderbird School of Global Management and a master’s degree in mechanical/electrical engineering from FH Augsburg. He is fluent in English and German.
