Matson Blocker

Mr. Blocker brings more than 35 years of experience leading enterprise-scale IT and business transformations across professional services, legal services, manufacturing, technology, and industrial sectors. He specializes in IT strategy, performance improvement, large-scale program delivery, and cost optimization.
Over the course of his career, Mr. Blocker has led the build-out and scale-up of IT organizations to support high-growth companies. He has directed complex technology integrations and separations in the context of mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures. His work has included remediating underperforming delivery programs, driving rapid IT performance improvements with measurable cost takeout, and architecting and executing multi-tower outsourcing strategies. He has also helped organizations establish effective governance frameworks to enhance project portfolio management, delivery assurance, and investment discipline.
Mr. Blocker’s notable recent assignments include serving as interim Chief Information Officer for a start-up company, leading IT separation activities for a Fortune 500 divestiture, driving the rapid reorganization of all SG&A functions for a global energy company, managing outsourcing strategy and transition for a global distribution business, supporting integration planning for a North American corporate merger, turning around a critically underperforming global technical delivery program for a technical services firm, and establishing IT strategic planning and investment governance for a global services firm.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Blocker spent 27 years with Accenture, where he most recently served as Managing Director. He played a central role in scaling SAP delivery capabilities, expanding enterprise technology services, and leading quality assurance for global transformation programs.
Mr. Blocker earned a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Louisiana State University.
