On January 8, 2020, proceedings were commenced by 101098672 Saskatchewan Ltd., Morris Industries Ltd., Morris Sales and Service Ltd., Contour Realty Inc. and Morris Industries (USA) Inc. (collectively, the “Morris Group”) under the Companies’ Creditors Arrangement Act, RSC 1985, c. C-36, as amended (the “CCAA”) and an order (the "Initial Order") was granted by the Honourable Mr. Justice R.S. Smith of the Court of Queen’s Bench of Saskatchewan. Pursuant to the Initial Order, Alvarez & Marsal Canada Inc., LIT was appointed as Monitor of the Morris Group. A copy of the Initial Order is available on this website under “Court Orders”.
