As part of DELOS’ “Conversations with Neil”, Managing Director Andrew Flower participated in a round-table discussion with three other leading damages experts introduced by Neil Kaplan and chaired by Australian arbitrator Professor Doug Jones. Andrew and the other panelists discussed how Tribunals could gain maximum benefit from party-appointed experts and explored issues such as the use of joint expert reports, witness hot-tubbing and expert protocols. Consideration was also given to the timing of the appointment of experts, costs of experts and the engagement of the Tribunal as to the scope of their work.
