On the 2nd October at the Unquote British Private Equity Awards, A&M’s European Transaction Advisory Group (TAG) were announced winners of the ‘Financial Due Diligence Provider of the Year’ award.

The award recognises what has been a record-breaking year for the European team in a number of different ways:

Quantity and size transactions

The service line worked on over 200 separate transaction engagements, with deal sizes ranging from under £25 million to over a £1 billion in value.

Pan-European growth

The start of the year saw the service line expand into the French market in Paris, with the addition of Managing Directors, Jonathan Gibbons, Guillaume Martinez, Frederic Steiner and Donatien Chenu from a member of the Big 4. This latest strategic growth phase in Europe follows the launch of the Stockholm office back in 2017 and adds to existing transaction advisory capabilities in the U.K., Germany and the Netherlands.

Evolving corporate client list

Whilst this award reflects the strength of the service line’s activity in the private equity space, we have also experienced significant growth with corporate clients in the last year - attracted by our lack of audit conflict and full-service capabilities when combining with other service lines.
