New York, NY –  Leading global professional services firm Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) has appointed Vivian Santora as Managing Director and a member of the U.S. executive committee within the Global Transaction Advisory Group to advance the practice’s approach to inclusive diversity initiatives. Ms. Santora’s hire reflects A&M’s commitment to inclusive hiring and recognition that a diverse talent pool is essential to addressing private equity’s ongoing growth needs.  

Ms. Santora brings over 20 years of experience advising on issues at the intersection of business and social impact. Prior to joining A&M, she served as CEO of PowerPlay NYC, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping girls and gender non-conforming youth overcome systemic barriers to success through sports. Previously, she held the roles of Chief Development Officer of Women’s World Banking and Senior Director of the Girl Scouts of the USA.  

Ms. Santora’s joining also aligns with A&M’s Environmental, Social and Governance Services Practice (ESG) and dovetails with the firm’s credo to help drive change.
