Introduction
On February 19, 2025, Royal Helium Ltd. (“RHL”), Royal Helium Exploration Limited (“RHEL”) and Imperial Helium Corp. (“IHC”) (collectively, the “Companies”) were granted an initial order (the “Initial Order”) by the Court of King’s Bench of Alberta (the “Court”) under the Companies’ Creditors Arrangement Act, RSC 1985, c. C-36, as amended (the “CCAA”).
The Initial Order was granted by the Honourable Mr. Justice D.R. Mah of the Court of King’s Bench of Alberta. Alvarez & Marsal Canada Inc. was appointed pursuant to the CCAA as monitor (the “Monitor”).
