On June 11, 2024, Coach USA, Inc. and certain affiliate companies (collectively, the “Chapter 11 Debtors”) each voluntarily filed petitions in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware seeking protection under Chapter 11 of the United States Bankruptcy Code (the “Chapter 11 Cases”).

In connection with the Chapter 11 Cases, Coach USA Inc. was appointed to act as a foreign representative (in such capacity, the “Foreign Representative”) of 3329003 Canada Inc, Megabus Canada Inc., 3376249 Canada Inc., 4216849 Canada Inc., Trentway Wagar (Properties) Inc., Trentway-Wagar Inc. and Douglas Braund Investments Limited (collectively the “Canadian Debtors” and each a “Canadian Debtor”) for relief pursuant to Part IV of the Companies’ Creditors Arrangement Act, R.S.C. 1985, c. C-36, as amended (the “CCAA”) and Section 106 of the Courts of Justice Act, R.S.O. 1990, as amended (the “CJA”). 

On June 14, 2024, the Ontario Superior Court of Justice (Commercial List) granted the Initial Recognition Order and a Supplemental Order (Foreign Main Proceeding) (collectively, the “Recognition Orders”), which among other things, provides for a stay of proceedings for the Canadian Debtors pursuant to the CCAA. 

Alvarez & Marsal Canada Inc. is the Information Officer in respect of the proceedings pursuant to Part IV of the CCAA.
