Yuval Bar-Sela

With over 15 years of experience, Mr. Bar-Sela specializes in delivering large scale transformation programs, with a focus on sustained growth and profitability improvement. He has worked across multiple industry verticals, including financial services, technology/telecoms, retail, oil and gas and logistics and process industries.
Mr. Bar-Sela’s recent relevant experience includes leading a large-scale holistic growth focused transformation for a leading universal bank in Australia/New Zealand, focused on retail and business customers growth and margin enhancement, delivering an increase of over 25% in core earnings within two years; leading an ambitious market growth transformation for a mid-sized universal bank in Southeast Asia, targeting rapid customer growth and market share capture by optimizing the product portfolio, go-to-market strategy, channel execution and mid/back-office efficiency and effectiveness, realizing 20%+ growth in net income within 18 months; and leading the post-merger integration of two telecommunication companies in Israel, helping realize the ambitious target revenue and cost synergies, designing and implementing interventions across the full customer lifecycle.
Additionally, Mr. Bar-Sela has led a digital and advanced analytics transformation for an integrated downstream oil and gas player in North America, helping the business define and quantify the opportunity, develop the roadmap and deliver the first set of cross-business use cases; supported a leading retail organization in Australia to design and implement an agile operating model to better meet customer needs, improve time-to-market and enhance employee engagement; and developed an adjacent market entry strategy for an established tech-company, assessing the total addressable market, competitive landscape and distinctive capabilities required for success to develop internally/acquire through M&A.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Bar-Sela was Chief Business Officer of a climate tech in Israel. Before that, he was a partner with McKinsey & Company and leader of the Financial Services Transformation practice in APAC.
Mr. Bar-Sela earned a bachelor’s degree in law from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and an MBA from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan.
