Urvashi Bhalode
Ms. Bhalode brings more than 12 years of management consulting and corporate strategy experience, focused on consumer goods (food and beverages, beauty, personal care, and electronics), retail, and technology and digital sectors across Asia–Oceania, India, and Africa.
Ms. Bhalode’s notable engagements include leading a large, multiyear commercial strategy formulation, implementation, and enterprise transformation program for one of the world’s largest beverage companies in Southeast Asia with $1+ billion in revenues, delivering sustained gains in market share and revenue. She also led the deployment of an AI-based consumer acquisition funnel optimization strategy for a global personal care company, unlocking a high single-digit percentage improvement in EBITDA, and guided a leading global personal electronics company in Japan to identify opportunities to improve trade margins, leading to a low double-digit percentage increase in channel profitability. Additionally, Ms. Bhalode has advised several Fortune Global 200 fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) companies across the Asia–Pacific region on their digital and route-to-market transformation pivots to deliver profitable, scaled growth.
Prior to joining A&M, Ms. Bhalode served as an Associate Partner with EY-Parthenon in Singapore, leading consumer and retail client engagements and driving go-to-market strategies for the practice across the Southeast Asia region. Previously, she worked across a broad spectrum of consumer, retail, logistics, and digital engagements in India as a Consultant with Bain & Company. Ms. Bhalode also spent several years in the Corporate Strategy team at Godrej Consumer Products in India, further enriching and strengthening her practical industry knowledge.
Ms. Bhalode earned a bachelor’s degree in electronics engineering from the Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute (VJTI) in Mumbai and an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIMA). She has completed the CFA Level II program and has published several thought leadership pieces for leading journals and industry bodies, including the European Chamber of Commerce (EuroCham) in Singapore.
