Mr. Monai has over 15 years of experience in financial services consulting, with deep expertise in capital and liquidity optimization, SME and corporate banking, credit risk management, and financial regulation. He has worked extensively with market leaders across Italy and Europe.

Mr. Monai’s project experience includes strategic planning and balance sheet management, post-merger integration, commercial full potential programs, and commercial and operating process transformation, with a specific focus on end-to-end credit journeys. Mr. Monai helps clients redesign core operating models, enhance risk-adjusted returns, improve overall financial performance, and accelerate growth through data-driven and technology-enabled solutions.

Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Monai spent the majority of his professional career at Bain & Company, where he served as a Partner in the Financial Services practice. He led numerous high-impact engagements with top-tier financial institutions, delivering measurable results through complex transformation and performance improvement initiatives.

Mr. Monai earned a master’s degree in administration, finance, and control from Bocconi University in Milan.
