Tres Evans

Mr. Evans brings more than 20 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, customer and product profitability, and restructuring. Over his career, he has developed and implemented critical management reports, advised CEOs and CFOs on board and investor relation presentations, led pre- and post-integration planning and transaction execution, and developed enterprise strategies. He has served in a variety of interim roles, including Director of Financial Planning & Analysis, Controller and CFO.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Evans was the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis with Peerless Manufacturing in Dallas. Previously, he spent nearly 10 years at Dean Foods, where he held a number of positions including Senior Manager, Revenue Management and Area and Corporate Controller. He developed and deployed pricing processes and tools to enhance margins and provide transparency; provided analytical insights related to profit and loss statements, segment performance, and product analytics; managed a team of cost and senior accountants supporting financial close and analysis for 11 plants; and led a transition team through the process of centralizing 25 facilities’ back-office functions into a shared services center.
Mr. Evans earned a BBA and a master’s degree in accounting from Southern Methodist University and an MBA from the University of Texas, Austin. He is a certified public accountant in the state of Texas. Mr. Evans serves on the Board of Directors for the Texas Business Hall of Fame.
