Suraj Gill
Mr. Gill’s taxation experience, skill set, and knowledge base has been built over the past 20 years. His primary areas of concentration are tax issues faced by small and medium-sized enterprises, as well as high-net-worth individuals and their groups. Mr. Gill’s work encompasses tax consulting (provision of written advice), tax strategic planning, and tax disputes and arbitration with the Australian Taxation Office. His specialisms include corporate and international tax, mergers and acquisitions, goods and service tax, and various local taxes within New South Wales.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Gill spent 15 years with Bray & Associates Compliance and Consulting in Sydney, where he served as Tax Director. He also served as lead Tax Manager with Hayes Knight, where he advised various mid-tier firms and corporate clients.
Mr. Gill earned a bachelor’s degree in commerce from the University of Newcastle and a master’s degree in taxation law from the University of Sydney. He is a Chartered Accountant, Chartered Tax Advisor, and a Registered Tax Agent with the Tax Practitioners Board. Moreover, Mr. Gill served as a tax presenter with Knowledge Shop as part of their national professional development training team and has been a commentator on taxation for the Australian Financial Review.
